New Delhi – P&G India, a leading FMCG manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Kumar Venkatasubramanian as CEO, effective May 1, 2024. This move comes as the current CEO, L V Vaidyanathan, prepares to depart the company after 28 years of service to pursue personal interests, according to a statement from P&G India.
Kumar’s Background and Experience
Kumar Venkatasubramanian is currently serving as the CEO of P&G’s business in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this role, he led the sales team at P&G India until 2020, the statement noted. Kumar, an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, began his journey with P&G in 2000, joining the sales team in India directly from the campus.

P&G is known for its popular brands such as Ariel, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Oral-B, Pampers, Pantene, Tide, Vicks, and Whisper.
